Dear Smiley.... first take out the dev tank....you will notice a cooper pin there ( dev tank sat on it ) please make sure then when the dev tank were slotted in with a proper connection from the dev metal plate below and the cooper pin....it may help...if you wanna be sure.... connected the pin with a wire and put it outside and directly tie it up to the magnetic roller connector...

    thanks

Check metal fly wheels on both ends of drum if presents.

I'll never ask if I didn't check user manual, service manual, parts list, BSI/TNI/TAD... web, existing threads.

there is no fly wheel present on the drum because the drum is just after market.there is alot o toner present in drum assy. and the dev goes in waist toner tank after 1k of copy.

replace the white spacers on the developer unit.if these are worn, this can cause dev to be pulled across to the drum

Drum flywheels have no effect on pulling developer, just image quality (Smoothing). Poor drum ground, dev bias, more likely culprit since you are pulling developer so quickley.Ed

bad or unplugged erase lamp will cause this problem. I had to replace a toner bottle couple gear and forgot to plug in erase lamp. Copier worked for about a month, then I got light copies. Developer was in waste bottle. Good luck.
