    Toshiba 311c Fuser temp adjustment

Anyone know if there is a setting that can be adjusted to raise the fuser temp. The reason I ask is because we're doing a full bleed job that has a lot of solids and it seems as though the toner isn't fusing properly. It seems like it is flaking and you can feel a rough texture on the image area. Am I on the right track in thinking it's related to fuser temperature? If not what could it be? Thanks.

I never found an actual fuser temp control however there is a fuser temp adjustment that raises or lowers the temp at which the fuser remains at during sleep/energy save intervals. WHen raising this temp, it seems the fuser after a few prints does in fact heat up a bit more and fuses things as you refer better. You may look into the developer and the toner level and ensure the developer isn't in need of replaced as well as the toner is sufficient. I have noticed if there are toner bottles at completely different levels i.e k being full and brand new and say yellow very close to being empty, the k will seem to load or overtone almost in this case until it actually isnt quite so full. your best choice in this instance however is to move your job to the bypass and increase the paper setting to heavy 2 or haevy 3. This increases the temp and/or slows the transfer down quite enough to fuse almost any amount of toner you may throw at it!
