Toshiba 4511 error CEF0 - Revolver motor abnormality

Hi,

I have a Toshiba ES 4511 with a CEF0 error which according to the manual is a revolver motor abnormality.

Any ideas how to fix this or is it boat anchor time for this printer?

three things to check
1. is the revolver lock in place
2. are there any broken teeth on the revolver unit
3. is the revolver motor turning

#4 Check and clean the contact plates for the revolver. Can cause this also.

Hi,
There's a sensor for the revolver . You open the cover you can see the colour dev. unit. At left side there is the sensor just one screw, attached on a small bracket.take it out and blow it or replace it. make sure insert it back properly where the bkt slot into the frame.
when you turn the revolver slowly it musn't hit the sensor otherwise insert it back correctly.
should solve the error.
