What settings are you refering too? if it's the Network settings, are you pressing 'Apply Now' when finished.

Scanner&copy will not save settings. ะnd choice of language menu ...
Is reset to default settings after a reboot...( 200dpi and color settings default)
Colors is not natural ... When printing color dark. (White paper 80g/m), small white dots on the printed image.

Does it has installed a Network Based Print Controller?

If yes,go to Top Access and change General Copy Settings(Scan setting, resolution,Energy Saver and other things...)

If you want to change language go to Menu and and see if English is installed. If it is,turn the copier off and enter service mode turning on by pressing 0+8 and 220-0-Interrupt or Enter and wait for "reboot the machine".
If you have problem with printing density, sharpness, gamma i sugest you to do nothing by yourself, but find a good techician and let the "stress" to him.

Please don't ask me for firmware or service manuals as refusal often offends.
