    Toshiba 2060 focusing issues

Hi! I'm dealing with a real mystery, I have a Toshiba 2060 that is printing blurred or out of focus for the first 1/4 of the page only. Suggestions? I am stumped...

Check/clean/lube the carriage rails and make sure it is not twisted or hitting anything.
And Star Trek was just a tv show...yeah right!

I remember I had one of these out of focus once - what a dog - woof! Get the manual for it, and check the mirror alignment. But check for mechanical problems first.

I have had the developer stall or slowdown the drum because the dv spacers were worn this could cause a blurry image. Just a thought.

I tend to agree with Wild Bill (now that I think about it!) I have vague memories of the 2060/2860/3560/4560 being prone to worn dev unit spacers. I thought they were a crap machine really, but these sorts of problems could affect any brand, I guess.
