    Toshiba e studio 850 & 810 double image

Hi guys, I'm new here & this would be my first post.

I'm struggeling with double image on the abovementioned machines.

To start off: I've had this problem on the 810 at first & I could not get it solved, but the machine is going to be replaced soon, so I didn't worry too much at first, but then...

I've started to experience the same problem on an 850! I've replaced drum, blade, brush & recently enough the dev (+-200K) & fuser roller & web (just more than 100K). All works fine, but very soon (not even 1000 copies!) I get the double image again!

Also I've cleaned out the whole recycle toner supply (which wasn't very full), de-toned the machine.
The erase lamps are clean & they do light up (all of them).

The customer use the correct toner.

I think that would be it basically. (oh yes-transfer is clean as well)

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

    Thanx

    Jacques

Maybe these are dumb questions but I didn't see them mentioned so I'll ask: 1.) Are the pressure screws on the fuser tightened all the way down? ... 2.) Is the white plastic lever on the drum blade flipped so that the blade puts pressure on the drum? 3.) Are the wires on the fuser hooked up correctly (color coded?)

Don't take offense, just thought I'd ask the basic stuff...
I will not give you service manuals or firmware.

Sounds like a cleaning or fuser pressure issue. Hows the transfer cleaning blade?

I second ToshibaTech's questions. Have you stopped the paper prior to the fuser to see if the double image occurs BEFORE the fuser? Also, the drum blade cam/flip thingy could be off as well. Easy to get out of place.
