I am a Ricoh tech and seller. The Toshiba e-Studio901 is a relabeled Ricoh MP-9000. I've a customer that has the Toshiba model and Toshiba altered the system software. Haven't tried to load Ricoh software into this Toshiba box. I might do this if I can get my hands on the Toshiba version just in case.
Here's my problem;
Machine started reporting SC900, SC991, and SC300
SC900 is NVRAM - Electrical Total Counter Error
SC991 is software defective
SC300 is Charge Corona error
Both Corona wires and both grids look good but I'm replacing them today because the count is up there, but I don't anticipate this making any difference and copy quality is perfect. I'll reseat boards and connectors as the controller box was removed 4 weeks ago getting it into this office. It ran for those 4 weeks without fail.
Also, on the Logging data report, all but 13 of the jam location descriptions above location 100 are blank. It displays the number of the jam location and the count but not the description. All of the descriptions for jam locations below location 99 are displayed. Is this normal for the Toshiba version of the Ricoh MP-9000 system software?
I called the local Toshiba dealer for help but the guy was an arse. They don't have any of these machines in their population and he refused to sell me the system software. "We won't help other dealers like that". I'm more than happy to help any tech that asks. I don't care if they are a "competitor", and I own my company so it may actually hit me in the pocket book to assist another company. Some people take it too seriously.
Thanks for reading.

Update;
I may have discovered the issue causing the Error codes, the SC300 Corona error anyways... Within the main corona unit, the corona wire was strung incorrectly and caused some burning marks on the underside of the grid. I was getting the SC300 and jam on first copy every time and after changing corona wire and grid customer ran 2500 copies successfully. My hope is that the SC900 & 991 were also caused by the corona problem.
I still would appreciate someone contacting me about the Toshiba e-Studio901 System Software.
Thanks
