[CQ] Lose of YMC channels on first copy after black prints.

Hello, I have a ES3500 that every once and a while the YMC colors are deleted from the image, this only happens in the first print after a black print is done, the 2nd color print and then after will be fine, if you make another black print about 30% of the time the first color print after that black print will not have YMC in it. I took the TBU unit out cleaned it, its making contact fine, the springs dont seem to be getting stuck, the motor that raises and lowers the YMC channels seems to be moving the way it should in 03 mode. Any ideas??

IMO, you have an issue with the transfer belt...black lays down fine, then you go to color mode and the belt must engage the color transfer rollers, then back to black mode again which means the color transfer rollers are back in the retracted position. The only thing that is changing in the equation is the color transfer rollers. Put on that conductive grease, and ensure the x-fer belt mod kit has been installed. Hope you get it figured out. Emujo

I thought that I would rather the side of the drive. the commitment system for
the developer or drum color should have difficulty moving

      Have fun

Took the TBU apart again, the YMC rollers are moving fine, greased anyway, still having the same issue, now when it leaves the YMC out it goes into a wait adding toner msg. thinking its something with the dev drive system like Novy said, anyone have more thoughts on this?

Issue resolved, found the dev drive unit gear that drives YMC had a bad one way bearing, replaced and works fine, thanks for info.
