Has anyone else had issues with the 5520c fuser belts cracking? We have had several units that have failed prematurely even after doing all the updates including the satelite roller and bushings.

You have to be VERY careful installing the belt. You can warp the belt just by putting too much force when installing the satelite roller or twisting it. But I've had these belts for 600K. I've also had some go 10K and I could see the stretched area where the tech (errrrr myself) banged the belt into the fuser when installing.

I always try to put them in so you have an even gap each side between the spacers.It didn't say that I couldn't do it in the manual.Comment

Just keep the protect paper when install the belt and be very careful.
