    Re: Service message

Are you sure that it isn't "Service Recommended for IPC"

IPC = image process control. That's Toshiba for drum potential sensor for anybody else. It's either dirty or bad. Isn't it funny how this message never made it into the manual? =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

IQC stands for Image Quality Control.
You have to performed an image quality control enforcement
            service mode 05-290

It show the counter of Drum's life is near off. You can access 08 - 800 set to 0. Be careful the copy may be made darker. To be sure, you replace a new Drum and access 08 - 800 set to 0 or 08 - 252 set to 0. After that access 05- 200 do auto toner adjustment. After completed, 05 - 290 to process control. The machine will be ok. Good luck
