[Dead] Xerox Phaser 7500 "Fuser Failure"

This machine has been a problem with this for a few years. It will run fine then out of the blue it will start having "Fuser Failure" I will run Clear tech rep faults and clear fuser counter. What will fix it usually will be to simply put a new fuser in it. This time after replacing the fuser it ran about 100 copies and the threw "fuser failure" This machine is sitting next to another Phaser 7500 and they both do it at the same time. I naturally suspect a power issue and am getting it looked at by an electrician... Anybody familiar with this nightmare of a problem on these machines... Any feedback helps THANKS !!!

Not that it will help you much, but most digital laser copiers will go into a fuser code, when the power sags. Clean up the power, and you clean up the problem. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

The fact that they both do it at the same time would lead me to suspect the power outlet too. Are both machine's on the same circuit? There could be too much power drain if they are, especially if there are other things on the same circuit.

It was on a the community circuit and I had them put on a dedicated circuit. That helped for a year or so with a few times for a fuser failure but it always came up again after installing a new fuser etc... This time it won't come up at all. Trying to get them to relocate them to another building. The building they are in now is totally overloaded with industrial equipment. More than the building was initially designed for.

Every one is correct on this. Change outlets that are on a different wall. No surge protectors, extension cords, UPS, nada just straight into the wall. Now is the weird part and stay with me. Believe me I have replaced every electrical part in this model and was doing the same thing and on top of it was not coming to ready. Check with IT about the Ethernet Port for Power Over Ethernet POE sends an electrical signal thru the port to the machine causing weird issues to include premature fuser failures, power up and power down cycles. Also check to see what the Firmware version is at as well. Go to Xerox.com and find the latest one. It takes 10 mins to download and install on the machine.

            Hope that helps
