    Re: xerox 5775 software

    1. Get a USB flash drive.
    2. Create a folder on the drive and name it "AltBoot".
    3. Create a text file (.txt) and name it "FORCED_UPGRADE".
    4. Delete the file extension from the FORCED_UPGRADE.txt so that it no longer has the .txt
    5. Place the FORCED_UPGRADE file in the AltBoot folder along with the machine software DLM file.
    6. Power off the copier.
    7. Insert the flash drive into one of the machine's USB ports.
    8. Power the copier on.
Your machine should now enter software upgrade mode.

        Re: xerox 5775 software

It is a good idee to use 57xx pws tool and using altboot to see the boot process of sbc board.
In this way you will see if the sbc board sense the usb stick you use to reload software.
If not, you need nvm save and restore tool from pws tool to reload machine nvm's and after that to do software reload. Or you can do altboot from pws tool
I hope the battery you changed is the yellow one no the round one from mcu.
