    DC260 developer

    Has anyone ever used DC5000 developer in a DC260 developer housing? The package weight is identical, etc. Any help is appreciated.

      Hi, Do not use DC5000 developer on a DC260, the DC5000 use toner with oil, the fusing of the DC5000 is base on a oil system, the DC240,42, 250, 252, 260, family is the same.

          If you planning to used a DC260 developer assy on a DC5000. Go ahead it would run just fine.

              The hardware (the housing itself) from either machine can be used in either machine, but DO NOT use DC5000 developers in the 260. It won't work even a little bit.
