Have you tried contacting a Xerox dealer? I think it's the shortest and safest way.

Yeah you need an activation code from a dealer. With serial number and counters they can give you a code. You'll need new toners (or new chips) though.

try find compatible toner chip in your country

for use in wc7855 non metered version, cymk toner chip.

i used to do this with my dc iv c2260 metered version.

Workcentre 7835, change from metered to sold

Regardless, if the supplies plan is expiring you will need to enter a code. Changing chips or toners will not solve it.
