blacks are coming very thick and not sticking to paper properly,

Re: blacks are coming very thick and not sticking to paper properly,
I'm not familiar with this model but:
If it's running on coated stocks, sometimes you get issue with toner transfer voltage. See if there are any adjustments that can be made to these settings.
It maybe a possible fuser problem (unlikely) try reseating the connector on the fuser unit.
Hope this helps.
Re: blacks are coming very thick and not sticking to paper properly,
This is definitely a fusing issue. Either your media type is not set correctly or the fuser is not maintaining temperature. You'll see this especially in areas of color that have over 50% of each color or 200+% fill. It takes a lot of heat to fuse those heavy fill solids.
So, first:
Is the media glossy?
What media weight are you using (in gsm)?
What media type have you selected for the tray feeding the paper?
How many images on that fuser?

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
Re: blacks are coming very thick and not sticking to paper properly,
I don't really work on Xerox, so you'll need to consult you own users menu to determine the proper media type. I'm thinking it will be Thick1.
And you didn't notice that it fused properly with Thick1? Changing the fusing temperature is not the way to address color issues.
