    process black? USB C505

I haven't been working on Xerox very long, but a SALESMAN asked me about this.
Customer for whatever reason, does a lot of printing, from USB.
Does anyone know, if when printing from USB, does the printer "default" to process black,
instead of true black? The problem is the "usage" of toner is kind of high and they don't
use a lot of color. If printing from USB is "proces" black instead of true black, it could be
    the issue.

    tnx

I don't know about Xerox ... but on other manufacturers USB default print setting can be made in the web interface, specifying Monochrome, Auto-Color, or Color. Kyocera, Toshiba, and Konica Minolta all use Color or Auto-Color settings by default.

If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
