[Misc] Phaser 7100N - Toner not being completely fused to paper

We have a 7100N that seems to not be completely fusing the toner to the paper. There seems to be a ~3" wide band down the center of the page where the toner will just easily rub off, especially if there's a decent amount of toner in the area, like with an an image, or a more complex blueprint.

The printer isn't throwing any kind of error codes and and the stat sheet it prints off is saying there are about 22,000 sheets on the fuser. We are also using Navigator Platinum 24Lb paper, if that matters.

Is there a setting that can be adjusted, or should we just look into replacing the fuser unit?

it's a printer right? if so paper type setting is in the driver.

try printing with different paper type, heavyweight. extra heavyweight.
