I'm very new to Xerox machines and I'm having a really hard time diagnosing this issue. Fault 077-304 comes up as BSD-ON:2.1 IOT Interlock Switching BSD - Tray 5/Bypass Cover Interlock is open. When it's actually closed and locked the fault is still present but the machine starts to click (probably relays) repeatedly as if something is trying to move but is jammed. Opening the bypass tray stops the clicking but again, the fault is still present. I've looked everywhere and nothing is jamming the machine. When I first got it in and plugged it in, this didn't happen. I re-entered all the default NVM values that were tucked in the pocket in tray 1 and still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update: Just installed a refurbished bypass try and the same fault code and symptoms are still present. -
Re: Xerox Color C60 - 077-304 Fault Code
These problems often are caused by a bad door interlock. If you have access to one, try to change the one for the front door.Comment

Re: Xerox Color C60 - 077-304 Fault Code
Another update: Even before replacing the front door interlock switch, the machine would not power on at all. No LEDs on the MCU at all. I changed both power supplies with brand new units from xerox, along with the new front door interlock switch and still nothing. I measured voltage coming in at 107-109 volts. I'm at a complete loss now..Comment

Re: Xerox Color C60 - 077-304 Fault Code
Does anyone have a schematic or wiring diagram? I'm measuring voltage coming in before the breaker, after the breaker, before the main power switch, and after the same power switch and all read normal. The logicboard/motherboard has 2 LEDs on so it's getting power. There are no LEDs on the MCU. Where could there be a loss or power or bad connection?Comment

Re: Xerox Color C60 - 077-304 Fault Code
In case anyone has been following this dramatic saga, after many weeks of tinkering I have officially pronounced my C60 deceased. I have replaced it with an off-lease C70 so now I essentially have a full parts machine. Thanks to everyone who replied and messaged me with advice! <3 - EthanComment

Re: Xerox Color C60 - 077-304 Fault Code
Problem:
M/c sat displaying 077-304 MSI cover open
When checking rap cc 077-305 is displayed as a invalid code
Cause:
Loose interface plug on printer to HCF feeder
Click on the Thumbs Up if this record helped you.
Click on the Thumbs Down if this record did not help you.
Remake interface conections/clean contacts.
Try this if its not too late.
