I don't want to raise ANY hopes, using your image as it sits in the
receiving tray, what direction was the paper moving?

Were you making several copies without interuption?

The toner may be pulled off the developer (magnetic?)
roll where the image would develop.
If that is the case, making copys one at a time with a long
copier shut down mode. That could allow the mag roll(s)
a chance to replenish the yellow toner used the copy before.

Small printing presses suffer the same in dignity, but
    are messyer.

    Good luck.
    Robert

ther print came as A4. Even single prints after turning on the machine in the morning gives a similar output. Since its yellow the print quality is not much affected. But i would defanitelty like to get this cleared, having been trying to for the past month

        Developer Housing Trimmer Bar

Do you have another developer housing you can swap in to eliminate this possibility?

                  Developer Change Cheap Enough

I suppose that if you haven't changed developer recently it wouldn't hurt to try that idea. Price is right:

                  1 SET XEROX OEM 2060 6060 8000 DEVELOPERS 5r629 - 5r632 - eBay (item 170413979223 end time Dec-05-09 07:29:06 PST)

The foil packages could be taken out of the boxes, would fit into a Fed Ex or USPS Priority box for shipment. I can re-ship them for you if the EBAY seller won't ship internationally. You made a major purchase from me some months back. I haven't forgotten. I believe we successfully shipped that item regular air mail????

Did you check the trimmer bar to make sure it isn't warped? Uniform gap across the length of the roll?

I can probably find you a good used dev housing if you still need one. I've got a parts machine.

I have a set of developer in stock .The current developer has run more than 600,000 prints. I am planning to interchange the developer assembly with that of another machine , just to check also I had another advise to check the erase lamp . so by monday i will have a grip on the issue.

I usually go for brand new parts , its costly but then i wont have to bother about that part for some time.I have got the costs for a brand new unit.my machine is around 1.3 mil now.

                    Edit:

A similar problem cropped upped today this time in Magenta Unit . I cleaned the lamps the problem is resolved. I cleaned the lamps in yellow unit also but no change .

Read it. To me it looks like uneven charge on drum, could be developer unit (mag roll). I see you already replace developer material.
