    DC2060 jam at 2nd BTR

    Hi All,
In my ongoing issues with my DC2060 I am now getting a paper jam on almost every print and every paper type I've tried (yesterday it was letting bond through and jamming art paper). It happens where the paper passes through the rollers with the knob 4B and just as the leading edge passes through the 2nd BTR, just far enough to get 3-5 cms of image onto the paper. The 2nd BTR is new but we tried putting in the old one and it was the same story.
    Any help highly appreciated.

When trying to do a test print from the diagnostics mode I get the same jam but it comes up with an error 8-160 (Regi Out Sensor On Jam RAP). I've tried cleaning all the sensors in the registration area but no joy. Also discovered that the leading edge stops at the same place whether I print an A4 SEF or LEF and regardless of whether it is on bond from tray 1 or art paper from tray 3. Now stopping about a cm after the leading edge has passed through the 2nd BTR

What happen when you use heavy paper (250/300grs)?

Can this be done from the diagnostics mode on the machine itself? If so, how do I do this? My technician, who has a PWS, is very busy at the moment so that's why I'm trying to get as far as possible with this issue while he is unavailable.

Also I've just seen there is no image on the IBT belt, though I don't get any other error message

You can try to change NVM values manually, change 742-001 to 742-010 and 742-060 to 742-065 at 70. Let me know if it works.

Ok so you can put back the value to 80. Check the movements of the registration and aligner assembly (front of the 2nd BTR) and check the registration motor (in DC330 number 008-013 or 008-014). Sorry for my english!

I've put them back to 80. Yesterday I did look at the registration assembly and cleaned all the sensors, everything looks OK and feels firm, when I check the two numbers you gave me in DC330 I get for "I/O = Output", "Status = On" and "Counter = 0". I don't know what that means but that's what comes up. No reason to apologise for your English, not my first language either

Try to remove the gear of the picture if it's not already do.
