    Fiery EXP250 wont boot up

I get fiery exp250 from a customer that wont boot up. He tried to clean up the dust from inside and I don't know how, one of the passive coolers fell off. There is nothing on fiery display except background light and numbers (05.04.22) in down left corner. I can hear that the HDD is beginning to spin, the D1 is lightning on the motherboard (after replacing the processor). I even plugged monitor to the fiery and there is no sign that fiery is turning on. Also tried with another ram memory
    fiery is nonrohs.
Also need english software for this fiery

probably fiery is damaged doing cleanig ..... static electricity or some like that ...
does motherboard has speaker? if yes, and cpu is OK you have to hear beeps, if no, connect external speaker.
if not beeps when you power up fiery, maybe motherboard is gone or bios is dead.
the LCD display is connected to USB socket and you see lcd board info only.

code 05 mean that fiery motherboard is faulty.

          1. Power off/on the copier.
          2. Recheck all cables and connections.
          3. Clear the CMOS and power-up settings (see page 4-30).
          4. Replace the motherboard.

where to find page 4-30? :| I don't have any documentation. I have only fiery at my place. I left the machine to the customer. He is about 100 km far away from me.

                  Similar problem

                  I'm having a similar problem.
The same code pops up when I boot my EXP250 "05.04.22"
but it hangs on the logo screen and goes nowhere from there.

It hasn't been opened recently and the problem started after restarting the machine through it's front panel.
I usually restart the machine from Command Work Station and now it's not even booting.

Make sure the heat sink fins are secured down on the processor. If it has popped off at any point this can keep the machine from booting due to it overheating the processor

I've reloaded the software and now the Fiery Server loads but it's now having another problem.
Upon connecting it to a printer it displays a message on the LCD that say approximately: "Please wait... waking Printer"
                        It stays this way indefinitely.
I've discovered that the "NET" cat5 port doesn't recognize any sort of connection.
Could this be a driver issue or is it more likely hardware related?

sounds like you have the scan and net connectors switched ??

No, it wasn't a sink fan and it wasn't the Scan/Net connectors.
I think the Net port is fried.
I get a response from the Scan port but the Net port never recognizes when a cat5 is plugged into it.
                            I'm the MoBo needs replacing.
Is it possible to use a network adapter card in place of the Net port so long as I transfer over all of the Network Protocols and whatnot?
