[CQ] Problem quality print Xerox C2424 with solid ink

Dears.....
I have a problem with my printer.
The printer is used. Model Xerox C2424 with solid ink.
The press is always with vertical lines

I have done many laps cleaning strips
I also clean the roller with a cloth.

How can I fix this problem?
The maintenance kit is 57% remaing. About Total print 23k.

Even if it has a small number of prints it doesn't matter. The printhead is 100% broken.

Sorry you can't repair the printhead. And it also cost's more than 1000€ so it's better to buy new printer. Unless you find one with some other problems and with good head but I think that's also impossible. Otherwise changing the printhead is easy.

I had a similar problem; remove the unit and clean the surface (where the tiny holes are) of the printhead. It was a lost cause situation so I took the risk, and it worked. Prints are not perfect but quite acceptable to the customer.

REmove the df, side panels (very few screws, as I remember only two in the back?) and it does feel like you're going to break them; those things are so honory!
Follow the manual, even though it's not always to the point. As I remember, you must remove the grounding spring/plate on the side. There are two boards attached, not difficult to remove/reinstall.

Further Query

This is good stuff but I want to just get a bit more detail if that is ok.

I have the print head off my C2424 to clean it. I have taken the blade off the head to expose bronze coloured transparent ribbon with the fine holes in it.

How do I clean this? What cloth and or solution do I use to clean the head?

And how do these small holes provide ink across the entire paper?
I have purple ink inbetween the green circuit board and the bronze ribbon

This link will resolve MOST light stripe issues - it will consume quite a bit of ink and though it implies 8400's it is also for the c2424 WorkCentre C2424 File Download #48510=
