I have a Xerox Workcenter 4150 that I am working on that is printing extremely slow. Even the test page has a delay of 20-30 seconds. The problem is both with PCL and with postscript drivers. Also from windows and mac's. I also tried printing to it from my windows PC via crossover. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

changed the protocol on the driver from raw to lpr then type lp in the queue name. -
I tried lpr but did not change the Queue name. I will try that...have you had this problem before?Comment

yes, and sometime last year or earlier this year, i remember trying this and a memory clear plus HDD reformat on 4150 manage to get it going but can't remember which one cured it . But i have also had it WCP255 family and the first tip worked.

try
turn off the machine
unplug machine from power
pull the back cover off
unplug the battery (buttom right cover) leave unpluged for a min or two
plug battery and power plug
u can also do a "clear all memory" this erase any setting for scanning.
also pulling out the hdd a formating it. make shour its Fat32 Format.Comment
