workcentre Pro 65 Scanner Copy Problems

If you make a copy through the doc feeder it works just fine. Lay it on the glass and the machine goes nuts! Copies come out dark bands, very wide on them and most of the time won't copy worth looking at! Scanner moves freely, no obstruction, lamp looks fine.

Any ideas?

Make a copy from glass with open DADF.
Will see that during copy scanner lamp will go off and on.
Replace scanner video cable.

Lamp stays on and glides smoothly. No problem seen.

Did you change that video cable? I am hundred percent sure that the problem is in that cable.

not yet, still working on the finisher problem on the same machine. It says "finisher unavailable" and stapler # 1 won't work. I have removed it and cleaned everything, checked all connectors and it still says that.

I don't know about finisher, is there any error code, it could be some of PWB's
