Xerox Workcentre 5230 curls paper too much

Hi Guys,

I have a xerox 5230 which curls paper when the papertype letterhead is selected.
What happen with the paper is that it is trasported form drawer 3 of 4 goed up than you see it come out and it goes back in the machine en then is delivered in the output tray.

The machine has no finisher.

When you change the papertype to plain this doesn't occur.

Does anyone have some solutions for me?

change the paper. 5230 have a very classique fuser with a lot long grain- short grain jams-curls issues. this machine (old 128 ser.) work fine but with right paper(settings) and no so stupid cust.

What nilak says is correct. You can try to declare media as plain paper (you may have fusing problem).

The problem with this machine is that we use the machine with different paper types.
In the windows driver the different paper sizes are displayed.

We really need this function on the machine.

Hope you can help.

This is a driver seting (where paper can get out).
You can declare plain paper (plain and letterhead have the same treatment). I do not understand what is looking your paper in 1 area on one side printing. 1 area is used for duplex print/copy.

now i understand you have a driver problem. i suppose you use 3,4 tandem trays and you cant put SE oriented paper because 1,2 are used for other formats. (any way try SE for the sport).
Change the driver PCL versus PS and vice- versa. there is a lot of poor made software for this class machines. dont forget to update firmware. if you use WIN7 Or vista try from WinXP .
-Use samsung driver instead.
-change 742-100 to 0 (if not)
does letterhead is face up or face down in input tray? (front or back side oriented)
post what you have done pls.
