    XeroX WC Pro 245

    Hi,

    I have a problem with xerox 245

    everything was ok and then just messages on the display incompatibile xero module and push back the fuser ?!??

    On Status tab : image count 0, Project end of life -2 days / same for Fuser

    no error code found

    I did the following:
    - Chk Wires
    - Chk Crum
    - Try other drum, fuser
    - Install new Software module! PL 3.10 #8
    - Replace PWB with main motor

    but no luck

    don't know what to do next



    pls help

      I had this on a 56xx machine. Had to replace the IOT PWB, and replace the Xero and fuser modules. I'm guessing CRUMs may do the trick.

          Hello Tropix,

          maybe you have a NVM corrupt.
          Try to reload NVM from MRD (Machine Resident Diskette).

          Success.

              i try to reload NVM from MRD but not help

              I think it may be IOT pwb :/ but I'm not sure, can't purchase yet

              any help is appreciated

                  Voltage on yellow battery from software module is under 2 volts

                      No, i install new software module voltage is about 3V

                          Do you check that or do you think you may have 3 volts ?
                          On older software module the battery voltage was ... ?

                              I checked before install, far as I remember 3.3 V

                                  Check memory dram's in slots near software module.
                                  In tools mode the service plan is A or B ?
                                  Make the machine to be copier only. Enter service mode an do dc 132.
                                  After that try again to restore nvm from MRD.

                                      I try other memory from 5655 and same prob

                                      my service plan is B

                                          NWM is corrupted Replase yellow batery and restore NVM from disc
