    Xerox print engine fault

    Hi everyone.

    I recently bought a Xerox Document center 440st.
    I have an error which tell "print engine fault"
    I try the solution of xerox support but there is no change.

    Can you help me.


    P.S
    I'm new in the forum and i didn't throw a presentetation topics.
    There is one ?

    Hi,

    first you have to check which faul code you have.
    when machine show print engine fault, press key button, then #11.

    machine will inform you that can not enter in diagnostic and that firs have to disable print engine, and will ask you to confirm that.

    after that again enter key, #11 and enter in diagnostic mode, and check in fault history which code you have.

    Then write again to help you.

        u4-1 is fuser under temperature

        check fuser lamps, thermistor, thermo fuse

            Hi,

            Look this is forum for copier techs.
            Not for end users.
            If you do not know machine parts you should call someone to fix your machine.
            So if you have problem with machine, call some copier tech form your region.
            Be honest; let us to get some money and to live.
