xerox workcentre 5655 configuration change

Is there a way to change the configuration to just copier, not copier, printer on these wiworkcentre systems?

We don't want it to try to boot up controller for print.

Yes, It depends on what controller is in the machine.

For single board controller, log in as admin, disable all networking protocols, (TCP/IP v4, TCP/IP v6, netware...). It will still boot network controller, but wont give you message about network cable unplugged.

For Multi-board controllers, unplug the NC and take out the firewire card out of the tray, instantly no printing capabilities.
