    5655 Swipe Card for Admin?

Client just purchased this machine and it works fine, but when we try to go into admin it says SWIPE CARD and in the upper right it says KEYBOARD ACCESS. Is there a way around this to shut it off? If we hit KEYBOARD ACCESS it just processes for a bit then defaults back without doing anything.

If we reset Network NVM will this cure this problem?

    Thanks

Do a full NVM reset. On this machine the only thing you really need to preform after a full NVM reset is the registration adjustment (very simple and quick).

Did the NVM reset, no change. Still asking to swipe card and won't let me into admin mode at UI.

As I said you on pm you must do software reload. When secure acces with usb card reader is enable this is the method to bypass machine security.

Machine has a builtin net controller or is a external box controller situated at low rear side of the machine ?

Built in and tcp ip or any protocols are not active so we can't see it on web interface.

That means machine is SBC. Perhaps you dont need pws for reload software. Only proper software.
What actual software version is on copier ?

How do I reload if everything is disabled such as USB and tcp/ip?

Not sure you can read it but it says
                      usb port enabled: Disabled

That is fine ! You cannot print to usb printer port but you can connect with admin software tool.
Also there are two A type usb ports and you can use these ports for reload software.

Okay, so I just copy the system software onto a USB stick then plug it into one of the USB ports on the back and turn copier on? Is that the correct procedure?

                          Thanks

Okay, went to get PWS and I can't get it to connect to PWS or altboot using 8 key. Machine shows no errors and copies just fine. Whats the deal on this beast?

                              Thanks
