I need some help on this one. Installed a Hear Roller kit. Unit started jamming in finisher. Initialize finisher in pws, tray 7 starts behaving like the lift motor has gone bad. Use restore to load last settings from previous visit, unit gives 116-331 code. Follow procedure to re-install hdd, now unit has blank screen but motors and clutches are turning on properly. Can't get pws to connect. Need help badly, this is customer's big gun unit. Thanks.

from what i am reading from error code 116-331 you did everything but, however also says replace the ESS PWB. I hope this helps -

Holy cow!! Don't replace any more heat roller kits!! You're doing it wrong!!
My first question is: Aside from the heat roller being worn, did you have any strange problems before replacing the heat roller?
If no, go back and check the fusing unit for pinched wires.Comment

Reseated connectors and chips on ESS, MCU, AC & DC boards. Screen started coming on with white screen, but I was able to connect pws and re-initialize the unit. So far everything is OK except a recurring issue with the Finisher (fault code 012-159). Have previously posted on this one and have done everything. I believe the system software (firmware) might be the issue. If anyone has it, it would be appreciated.Comment

What sw version is on the machine ?
