Need urgent help for Xerox Document Centre 480ST. Problems with Fuser Module

I get the message "Pull out the Fuser Module, then firmly push it back in" message on the display on my Document Centre 480ST Xerox copier.
I tried to do pull it out and back in several times, but without any luck. Anyone how know what is going on, and how to fix it?

Yep. But the safest approach if you are not a tech, is to replace the fuser first.

So it could be that it is just worn out and need a replacement?
The strange thing is that it writes the same error message, even when I pull out the Fuser Module completely. It looks like the copier is not aware if it is connected or not.
