Ricoh DD 3334 Not ejecting masters

I got a Ricoh DD3334 not ejecting master correctly. The clamp opens but the master does not fall all the way out to be picked off by the master eject section. Any one have any ideas. Also looking for a manual for this model.

what have you tried so far?

I would start with cleaning the master area ( too much gunked ink? ) check the master eject section...

did you put a request in the " Manual Requests " forum for the service manual?

When you side the drum unit out,the trail edge of the master should curl away from the surface of the cloth screen to allow the master exit section to start the removal. If it does not curl away, the master roll is installed incorrectly, llead edge is coming off the bottom instead of the top.

Been working on duplicators for 11 years The masters are installed correctly. I have swapped out the entire drum, entire master eject section, as well as the sensors on the clamper opening mechanism. Its almost like the clamp is not opening far enoungh to let the master fall away from the drum the master hits on the clamp.

Sounds like the Sensor bracket or the actuator for it on the drum is possibly bent causing the clamp to open too early thus preventing it from fully opening

Suggest cheating the front door and watching what's happening.
