    Risograph GR1750: Drum stuck

I just bought a second hand Risograph GR1750. The first tests with blue ink went fine. But then I changed drums and inserted a drum with black ink and the machine got stuck. E 01 error.

When I loaded it, I noticed the drum had an old master-sheet sticking to it. It was covered in black ink. Looked weird but being a newbie, since the previous owner had been a printer I took it they knew what they were doing. Obviously, they neglected to remove the master from the drum. Perhaps it was a faulty drum in the first place since the master is supposed to end in the bin and not remain glued to the drum, right?

Anyway, now my riso is stuck. Can anyone tell me how to remove the drum for inspection? I can't take it out

    Thanx!

E 01 is a main motor lock. It sounds like the drum clamp is jammed into the master disposal box. If you can see the top of the drum, manually back it off a little bit, then rotate it to home position so it can be removed.

I can't see it at all frontally, nor looking in from the master disposal side. Bummer

What about from the master roll side? I work on the 3700 series, and I thought the GRs were of the same design. Maybe not.

Remove the eject assembly the rotate the drum manually clockwise to home position, original post is corretc you probably have a bent clamp.
