    RZ-220UI

We've got a few of these cluttering up the warehouse, and I was hoping that one of you Riso guys could point me in the right direction. I've been a copier guy for two decades, but have never touched a duplicator.

I'll start right off by saying they've been sitting in the warehouse idle for at least a year. I know that liquid ink systems don't like to sit idle. The more ink flowing the better.

The first one should be fairly straightforward. "Replace Master Roll" is displayed. I think I may even have a master roll.

The second and fourth both display "20" when I try to make a master. The second one will actually print from some old master still stuck on. It looks like a third grade history test. The fourth won't do that.

The third one shows a red LED at the #3 on the illustration of the machine. It might be a jam, maybe something else.

I haven't found an operator's manual yet, but haven't quit looking. I'm not interested in doing anything in-depth with these machines, I'd just like to pass some paper, if they're able. Anybody interested in purchasing, please send a private message. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

your machines showing 20 have been defaulted to need 20 or more copies input before it will make a new master etc. the one with the 3 lit up means it needs the ink replaced or installed. Hope this helps

if there are any issues to this machine hold down the * key. the machine will then give you a code which can be looked up in a user manual or on the internet and will point you to what the machine needs. if you have any other questions let me know. i have been working with these for awile(14 years)
