    How new is the seperator pad? Try adjusting the pad pressure with the dials. I usally only see this when a poor quality card stock is being used, not all types.

      Agree with jermyth, your sep pad is causing this-might have too much pressure, or may be out of position.
      2000 mockingbirds = 2 kilomockingbirds

        i'd like to thank you both for your help. I removed the sep pad, cleaned all the dust that was around, cleaned the pad itself then adjusted the pressure dial, and everything is now running like a charm!

          Glad you got it sorted, yeah... looks like sep pad.
          Color is not 4 times harder... it's 65,000 times harder. They call it "TECH MODE" for a reason. I have manual's and firmware for ya, course... you are going to have to earn it.
