[Misc] RZ 990 tearing masters

Hello,

I am having an intermittent problem where the master is getting torn as it is being pulled off the drum. Clamp and master removal "bar" seem to be working properly. It is kind of hard to see since the action is so fast, but it looks like the near side doesn't always pull up into the disposal rollers. The rollers have been cleaned and the bands were replaced a few months ago. Any help would be great!

I have not had this problem, but I've been told that too much ink on the drum can cause this. Try cleaning the drum screen to remove excess ink, espcially where the tearing is occurring and see if that helps.

Check and replace the black felt like pads on each end of the projection bar I've seen this a couple times. You can wrap black tape where they are, that normally helps
