Looking for a Job as KM Copy Tech / IT Guy in the US

I am playing with the thought of moving to the US for a good while now.

Are there any employers that are looking for a Copier Tech (KM, Olivetti, Kyocera) and System Administrator?
I am 20 years old from Germany and bring 4 years of copier repair knowledge and about 8 years of Computer/IT Knowledge.
I am the type of "try it and see" if i am not sure if something will actually work and i have no one who knows better at hand.
I'd like to hear back from anyone who either would be able to employ me or knows someone who i could give a call

Ofcourse i have a 100% clean criminal record and everything else that would be needed for a visum in the US

I have seen a number of posts here from people over the big pond saying basically they're short of trained technicians maybe you will receive some PMs. You are young and that is your biggest advantage, I mean if you find good place to work and live chances are company will have good employee for years. Most of guys I know who are IT trained never looked back to carry the load of toner vacuum cleaners, tool cases, parts etc
    Anyway good luck young Jedi

I mean i am quite easy to feed literally.
Give me enough to afford a car, an apartment, food and good internet access and there will rarely be any complains coming from me
I dont mind to carry a vacuum cleaner if i have a car and i carry my tool case almost all the time anyways

Do your research on cost of living in the US. It varies greatly. $40K in one part of the country can give you a better life than $100K in another. The cost of a two room apartment in one place may get you a house on 5 acres in another.

Health insurance is another thing you need to consider. Some companies will provide insurance and no cost to you while others expect you to pay hundreds of dollars a month.

If you get an offer post up the details and the people here will pick it apart.

Another important consideration is the car.

A company car might not seem that important, but for those of us putting on 35K miles per year, that means that you won't be able to keep your car for very long ... it will wear out quickly and require expensive maintenance. And the reimbursement for use of a personal car varies widely. (Take the company car if you get the choice.) =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

If you're really lucky, you'll find a job in Texas. You'll get more from your dollar in the Loan Star State. No state income tax for one. Just sayin'....

Wherever you land, best of luck to ya.
