    Brother DCP-L2552dn: scanner error

    Hello, the scanner punches to the left side of the machine - than scanner error comes. Whan I turn on the machine, the CIS unit (scanner) lights up for few seconds.
    What could be wrong? I think only these three components:
    - D00G04001 - FIRST SIDE CIS UNIT
    - D00G05001? - FIRST SIDE CIS FLAT CABLE
    - D00MZD002? - MAIN PCB ASSY (main board)
    But how to know which one, when you do not have other spare parts?
    Flat cable can be measured - O.K.
    Do you have any idea, how to exactly specify the defective spare part?

              On the display: scan unable AF (without error code).

                  from what i see in a google search it has to do with the fax.

                      It was: - D00G04001 - FIRST SIDE CIS UNIT. Now it is working fine.
