    MFC-L2750DW Scans fine but faded copies

    Got a neighbor with this MFP. You can scan and get perfect images, both from the glass or the ADF. But if you tell the printer to make a copy, the copy is faded on both sides of the page, top to bottom. So I'm not sure why it can scan without a problem but not make a decent copy. You can print the scan and get a perfect copy, compared to what you get when you tell the printer to make a copy. I don't work on little printers like this so I have no idea. I tried turning up the darkness in the copy settings but I can't see that it made any difference. Printer has a new drum. Everything else it prints including the demo page are fine.

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

      This is so strange. I work on them and wish I could offer help but can't.
      Maybe you reset it back to factory settings or try initialize in maintenance mode.

          what are the copy settings set to? paper settings? density settings? dpi? johnny 5 said it best, need more input..
