Brother MFC - L5700DN

Brother MFC-L5700dn, i replaced a faulty power supply board on this machine. I switched it on and it did power on, initialized all was fine. It poped up message calling for drum installation which was not inside the machine at that particular time. I switched it off and normal shutdown went through well. I installed drum unit and upon switching it back on nothing happened, no display, no moving motor or running fan except Home key light pop up. I removed power and removed drum unit , switch it on again still nothing happens. Any suggestions please.

What's the voltage of the goldcap?

Try unhook the power cable and hold the power button for 10secs then insert the power cable again and try turning it on.

have you tried a different outlet? is it on any kind of surge protector? have you tried a new power cord?
