DCP8060 folding notch in leading edge center of paper

Customer has DCP8060 and it is bending a 1/2" section of the leading edge of the paper when it feeds.
Replaced the "Feed Roller Assembly & Separation Pad Kit" and yet the small bent spot remains.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

where is the bend? in the center of lead edge? left corner or right corner? does it do it after feed but before drum? i have seen a couple of things cause a fold in the center. the small roller in cassette by the sep. pad may have built up paper dust under it. i've also seen toner cartridges do this a couple of times. they had a small burr in center, bottom of cartridge. a little more info may help if its not one of these things.

you can try to feed thru the multi-purpose tray if you haven't already. if it doesn't fold edge then you know its a problem in cassette area or possibly a label or something stuck under the plate where paper makes the u-turn to go into drum cavity.

      good luck,
