Is there a reset code for this. New machine popped code so must be a glitch.

AFAIK, no reset. Just fix the fuser, then power up, and the code goes away.
I'm pretty sure it was a 9440 that I had the fuser code on. =^..^=If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

mfc 9440cn's do have fuser failure error codes, press menu *, 2, 8, 6, 4 keys with in 2 secs to display maintenance mode, press 82 to display error code then press stop key and then press 99 to reset error. If error resets good its gone and if it remains or goes away and re appears replace fuser with a new one.Comment
