if you do a parameter initial on it i think it clears all counters and all setting back to factory out of the box. Menu 2864 (service mode) followed by 01 for initial.

Silly man. There is no reason to reset the total count. If you're that concerned about counts, do some simple math. For example:

current count - last count = prints in between

More likely you're trying to sell your $300 tabletop MFP for a new price. If you had used some of that simple math you would see that you spent twice that amount to rebuild it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
          1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
          2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
          3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
          4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
          5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Yeah Thats only if he used "genuine" parts. We do have alternatives now that often work better.

Very true, I rebuild the DR400 and use compatable toners, and it works very well.

I do not know the procedure, perhaps a forum for auto repair would better serve for the assistance you seek.
I am also not in the market for a vehicle at this time.

                    thank you.

Just used the auto as example
How would you like to own something without a true known of the counter readings
