Imageprograf w7200 won't go into service mode

Machine just tells us to replace print head, which we did for client. It won't let us into service mode at all, just keeps telling us to replace print head.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks

READ>>>>>>Print head replacing Precautions: IN THE BOX

****Before replacing the print head, it is necessary to perform the firmware upgrade while the old print
head is installed. Please refer to the firmware upgrade instruction sheet that came in the box. The
following firmware version upgrades should be performed according to the model you have.

The Firmware upgrade CD-ROM has been
attached to the flap of the upper lid with a
    tape for easy access.

Read the Firmware upgrade CD-ROM instruction
    sheet

When connecting the printer via Firewire using Mac OSX10.2, there is a possibility that the printer
may not be retrieved from FUT. If this happens, install the printer driver compatible to the printer
    currently in use.

    Model Firmware version
    W7200/W7250 Ver.2.12 or later

I can't remember if its the same on w7200 but on 8100...main menu/maintanence/replace printhead/yes. Carriage will move into position to replace printhead(2 on 8100). Did you follow the procedure or just reemove the old one and stick a new one in...its all in the user manual

Yes we did all that needed to be done. We can't even get the machine to go into service mode by holding down "paper source" and "online". We can get it into download mode. Any other ways of getting into service mode?

        Thanks
