    HP laserjet flow M880Z+ fuser didn't reset counter

    I got involved in the later stages of this. It turns out that the installing tech never powered off the MFP, and the counter never reset, now it won't.

    I was hoping to find a reset in the service mode, or a microfuse in the fuser wiring harness, or an EEPROM. Alas, no luck. It's the most basic of fusers: two heaters, 4 thermistors, and a frame ground. Not even a paper feed switch. The fixing pressure sensor is mounted to the main body. The paper feed photointerrupter is mounted on the outer door.

    Short of installing another new fuser, is there a way to reset the counter of this one? If it's a secret service mode, please send a PM.

      I've had a similar issue and unfortunately was only solved by fitting a replacement unit,so if anybody has a solution I'll be interested

                              Far as I know after 100 sheets the thing resets. I think this was process was made easier with later firmware. My machine was the M830z. Black Print
                              I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.
