HP Designjet T610/T1100 01.1:10 error

This is just an FYI in case anyone else runs into this. I had a T1100 giving a 01.1:10 error. Per the manual, the problem is the printmech PCA. I tried a new printmech PCA and I still got the error. I had just recently replaced the power supply (not the Main PCA and the PSU, just the PSU.) Well, it turned out to be the new PSU. I got another new one, put it in and the printer fired up OK. Originally the printer was giving 03:10 errors which lead me to replace the power supply in the first place.

I'm starting to think that the PSU on these things can produce just about any error conceivable.

Saved me from a "field panic".

Replaced the PSU on a Z3200 for fan noise and got same error. UGH! Swapped the fan and put the old PSU back in. Works fine. Glad it was JUST a PSU.

I've been refurbishing these PSU's. Only thing wrong is the fan. Gonna search eBay and buy 1 or 2.PSU Fan.jpg
