[CQ] HP LJ Enterprise 700 M775dn Transfer belt failure...

This customer has a transfer belt assy failing with 97,000 copies on machine. Seems that is pretty early. Is this how long they last or did something cause this to happen. They said they used one Reman toner drum unit once but haven't since. The problem is lines on copies like tsfr cleaning blade failure... Thanks so much for any comments

You'll get a life message at 150K, but I've never had one fail early. I've installed 1/2 dozen of these kits.

Primary transfer cleaning problems could conceivably be caused by aftermarket toner, but that certainly should have depleted itself. If you think there's any chance of the aftermarket toner remaining in the system, I would replace the primary belt, black imaging unit and black toner as a set. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.
