[Misc] HP PAGEWIDE PRO MFP 772dn FREEZING

I installed a new HP PAGEWIDE PRO MFP 772dn FREEZING about 3 weeks ago. The machine is keeping on showing message network cable disconnected though the cable is properly inserted and eventually the machine just freeze. I usually reboot it and it starts working fine after rebooting it. Tried different cable, set it not to go to sleep mode and set link status to auto instead of 100MB but still, the problem is keeping on coming. Any idea I can't keep on switching off and on my machine.

Just a shot in the dark, but try disabling IPV6 in the settings, if it's even an option.

If it's a new printer, why not contact HP about it? It should be under warranty.

Did you update the firmware? Is the printer setup on a static IP? Have you tried plugging it into a different port on your switchbox/router? Could be a bad port

Have you run a continuous ping test? To do this go in to command prompt and type

      ping XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX -t

replaces the x's with the IP of your printer.
