I've got an HP CLJ 5550n 11x17 printer with multi-color "horizontal" lines.
In the middle of a 150 page, suddenly develops several un-evenly spaced horizontal lines, The lines go completely off the edge of the pages right through the "grip" zone margins. These multi color lines have varying spacing and some even show up on the "backs" of prints.
Upon opening machine, lines are apparent on transfer belt. Ordered and installed brand new Trans Belt Unit...no joy. Still has lines, Tried full calibrate, no help.
I had the client create a B/W document only and send to printer.....still get various magenta, yellow, or cyan horiz lines.
I have attached a couple of pics for reference. Anyone seen this issue first hand ???
