HP P3015 Feed Shaft

Is there a bulletin about the feed shaft poping out of place or a way to prevent it from happening when it is put back in place?

I seem to remember either the shaft breaks (at the end) or a clip that holds it in place breaks. I remember buying the whole assembly but only replacing the part that broke cause it was much easier/ faster.

I started a thread about this issue a while ago... there isn't really a good solution.

Not helpful, but, replacing the pickup assembly on the P3015 is just as fun as replacing the pickup assembly on the old 24xx series. Parts all over the place.

I find at least three 'extra' parts every time I do the job.
